  1. My favorite part of the story is when she was visited by a little old lady who diagnosed Camilla with the case of bad stripes. The old lady offered lima beans to cure her. Camilla refused to eat them. The old lady began to leave and then Camilla changed her mind. Camilla ate the lima beans and transformed into a little girl again.

The lesson of the story is to never be embarrassed to eat lima beans or any type of healthy food.

Summary: Camilla was embarrassed to eat lima beans. She thought kids would tease her. She caught a bad case of the stripes. She didn't get cured of the case of bad stripes until she ate lima beans. She learned not to care what others thought about what she ate.

  2. I also enjoyed the part of the story where the little old lady visited Camilla.

Good job with your summary as well.

  3. My favorite part of the story is when Camilla's classmates started shouting different patterns and she would change into whatever her classmates said. I know her classmates were not nice, but to be able to change colors like that seems kind of neat. The lesson learned is do not worry about what people think of you. If you want to eat lima beans, then eat lima beans. If your friends make fun of you for eating something you like, then they are not your true friends.

Story summary: Camilla is a little girl who loves lima beans but she never eats them. She is embarrassed to eat them because she thought the other kids would tease her. One day Camilla caught a bad case of stripes that kept getting worse and worse. Every doctor around came to help her but nothing worked. Until one day, an old lady showed up at her door. The old lady told Camilla if she ate some lima beans she would be cured. Camilla wanted to eat the lima beans more than anything, but she was scared of what the other kids would say. Camilla had to make a decision whether to be cured of the stripes, or care more about what her friends would think of her if she ate lima beans. Camilla chose to eat the lima beans and poof! The stripes were gone. Camilla learned not to worry so much about what other people thought of her and she enjoyed eating lima beans from then on.

  5. Thank you for sharing your favorite part. That was definitely a neat part in the story. I think your suggestion for the moral of the story is valid.

    Great job on the summary
